SpongeBob Great Snail Race is a Nickelodeon game based on an episode from the third season of the cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants. SpongeBob and his friends are participating in the Great Snail Race. There are three championships the player can win: the Chum Bucket cup, the Krusty Krab cup, and the Triton cup. Players can customize their own seasnail and choose their own snail trainer.
There are four trainers the player can choose: SpongeBob, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, e Squidward Tentacles. Ogni allenatore ha un'abilità specifica che è molto bravo ad insegnare. Per correre, il giocatore deve alternare rapidamente le frecce destra e sinistra per andare avanti. Quando appare il pop-up BOOST!, il giocatore può premere la freccia su per dare alla sua lumaca un aumento di velocità.
